"As I grew up years ago on the farm, I loved to look out of my upstairs bedroom window after a snowfall. I could hardly wait to put on my boots and disturb the big smooth white field below, then rush back in the house and peer out at the designs I left behind. That is the same joy I am experiencing taking these blank quilt tops and making them mine. The machine is working great...the operator is of course still learning, but loving every minute of it. It is rather addictive!! I have finished up a practice piece, and am now continuing on to more projects. I've had a few tension issues when I change materials and use different batting, but I am getting it all sorted out. "Hi Dan, Just wanted to let you know that we're very happy with the Hobby Quilter as well as the Super Quilter frame. My husband built us an 8 foot table and we mounted the ends of the frame with carpet tack tape available at Lowe's. We haven't had the need to tack either of the tracks. The Hobby Quilter sews beautifully. We experimented with the speed and movement of the machine and have the dial up to 8 and have had no breakage of thread. We quilted a small quilt yesterday and found that if we turned it lengthwise, we only had to roll it 3 times.
